About Coca-Cola European Partners
Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) is the world’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler. CCEP is the sole licensed bottler for products of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) in Andorra, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iceland, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
In Great Britain (GB) we employ some 3,800 people across England, Scotland and Wales at manufacturing sites, offices and depots. We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our products and operations, with a particular focus on sustainable packaging, water stewardship, and energy and climate protection.
CCEP GB makes, sells and distributes soft drinks for every occasion and we sell more than four billion bottles and cans every year. We make 97 per cent of our products in GB – a fact we are proud to put on our cans and bottles.
Meet Jose. He has been in the apprenticeship for two years and has just started his third.
“My apprenticeship has given me a lot of opportunities to develop my skills, through the many training sessions available. These sessions help to give apprentices an insight into different machinery they may not yet have been exposed to or worked with.
I am really enjoying the apprenticeship it and look forward to the future. My first and second years were topped off by winning apprentice of the year consecutively.”
Meet Kodi She joined CCEP Wakefield factory in August 2015 as an Electrical Engineering apprentice.
“Now in my final year of the apprenticeship, I work five days a week currently in the reliability engineering department. This has helped me to learn about improving the efficiency of different areas of the factory so that I gain a broad skill set and can see how each section fits into the production process as a whole – helping to bring Coca-Cola products to customers across GB!
One of the main reasons I looked for an apprenticeship in engineering is because it challenges me with something new every day.”
Meet Roisin. She’s one of our Sales Apprentice covering Chelsea and Knightsbridge.
“Since starting the apprenticeship, I have gained not only more knowledge about sales as a role and the potential career opportunities it offers me, but also more confidence when I am out in trade. This has allowed me to improve my results daily which keeps me motivated to achieve the best I can.
My favourite part of the job is the CCEP ethos and the people I have worked with- I feel so at home with CCEP and I’ve had the privilege of working on some really exciting projects.”
Sharon has been in the business for 24 years in a variety of functions and roles. She joined the business as part of the Cadbury Schweppes Finance head office team, then made the transition across to Coca-Cola and Schweppes and moved into the world of commercial field sales.
Her third (and she says hopefully final!) career was a move into HR covering all elements of Supply Chain and now heading up the Coca-Cola apprenticeship agenda for Great Britain.
Sharon loves travelling and has been to many destinations around the world, but there are still many places she would love to visit.
