The aim of this broadcast is to raise awareness on the dangers of the railway tracks as well as the pleasures of rail travel.
The East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, Greater Anglia and Network Rail wish to use this opportunity to run an art project to promote safe, sustainable, accessible rail travel to young people when it is allowed in line with Government guidelines.
The task for the Primary Schools is to create a poster to advertise rail travel as an easy, environmentally friendly and safe travel choice for young people.
Entries from the participating schools will be shortlisted and then displayed on East Suffolk Lines social media and voted on by the public.
There will be a first and second prize winner from each school. Each winning poster will be displayed in Derby Road Station.
First prize winners will get free first class tickets for themselves and their family to a destination of choice on the Greater Anglia Network.
Second prize winners will get free first class tickets to a local destination.
The deadline for the posters is the 4th November.
