NHS Jobs LIVE is a live streamed event that broadcast to thousands across the UK wanting to find out more about the different job roles within the NHS.
This live broadcast featured Dr Jonathan Sadler, a Teaching Fellow at Brighton And Sussex Medical School who discussed how to enter a career in Medicine within the NHS along with the students from East Sussex College.

About Medicine
There are many different ‘specialities’ within medicine, ranging from psychiatry, surgery, anaesthesia and pathology through to general practice and obstetrics. This broadcast will outline the skills and training required to become a doctor.
Jonny is a teaching fellow at BSMS. Coming from a background of 5 years of anaesthetic training he currently teaches many different topics to year groups 1-5 at BSMS in classrooms, lecture theatres, simulation rooms and hospitals. As well as teaching duties, he also interviews students, supports the BSMS student revision app, examines students, iss helping with careers for our students and performs research.
Currently he is studying for a PG-Cert in medical education and is looking to start a follow on PhD in October.
