Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council are looking for Casual Refuse and Recycling Collectors to be part of our team providing waste and recycling services across the Borough. Blackburn with Darwen has one of the lowest recycling rates in the Country and we have committed to increase this from 30% to 50% within the next 5 years. As a Refuse Collector you be an advocate of the Council with a strong ethos to promote and encourage residents to recycle more and recycle correctly in order to achieve this target together.
