We’re excited to be hiring a C# Developer Trainee, to join our growing team.
This role is only available to people eligible to work as part of the Government’s Kickstart Scheme.
What’s the kickstart scheme?
Kickstart offers an opportunity of a 6 month work placement (25 hours a week), accessible to young people aged 16-24 who are in receipt of Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
What you’ll be doing
You will support leading edge major platform development initiatives
We’d like your initial focus to be on supporting the optimisation of the current system, refactoring, re-writing and tidying up the codebase
You’ll maintain and extend existing features and collaborate with the rest of the development team to spec, design and build new features end-to-end
You’ll also support the migration of the platform over to new technologies, to extend our technology lead
You’ll be working on international expansion – working around multi-currency, time zone and geo-location
You will have an appreciation of, and a passion for, the latest technologies
You’ll develop a laser focus on quality – from infrastructure, to code, to user experience
You’ll need to work closely with users, delighting them with support, researching new features and soliciting feedback
You’ll be asked to contribute opinions on a range of topics, from development practices to product strategy and roadmap
You’ll need to operate within the Company Values which are: Doing what we say we’ll do, being innovative and caring about each other and our teams

What are the working hours?
You’ll work 25 hours per week. The times will be agreed between us upon joining
Where is this role based?
You’ll be working full-time from home. This is UK only.
