Security Team Leader

Due to business demand, we currently have opportunities in the role of Security Team Leader.

This role is responsible for 24/7 delivery of Terminal Security Operations in line with regulatory requirements and MAG policies and processes. We are looking for Team Leaders who have previous experience in line managing a team and can lead on the day delivery of security performance in line with H&S and compliance targets.

Principle Accountabilities include:

Deliver a positive customer experience in a safe and compliant manner
Display role model behaviour and ensure officers adhere to SOP’s, appearance standards and expected behaviours
Responsible for Validation Point and fixed post performance and deployment to ensure compliance and efficiency in line with daily KPI’s.
Carry out daily observations on all elements of service delivery, giving in the moment appropriate feedback
To identify areas of poor performance and take necessary steps to address
Responsible for daily set up and closure of your operational area, and deployment of colleagues within your lane
Responsible for completing equipment checks and accurately completing associated paperwork
Identify CI opportunities and support the running of any subsequent trials and data collection while embracing change programmes
Front line communication and primary escalation point for Security Officers
Responsible for the validation and maintenance of all compliance equipment including rectification and fault reporting
Responsible for maintaining the infrastructure
Ensure resource headcount allocation meets & operational requirements
Responding to Health, Safety & Security incidents and escalating through the correct channels when require
