North Tyneside Council is the local authority of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear, England. It is a metropolitan district council, one of five in Tyne and Wear and one of 36 in the metropolitan counties of England, and provides the majority of local government services in North Tyneside.
Baltic Apprenticeships specialise in apprenticeship programmes to launch careers in IT, software development and digital marketing and Data. We were the first training provider to offer a completely digital apprenticeship training platform, and we haven’t looked back since.

Founded in 2009 Skills North East began on the premise of supporting unemployed and lower paid workers. We are the Apprenticeship team, a team that is located within Northumbria Healthcare. We offer apprenticeships internally, as well as externally and have a number of programmes run in house by our fully trained assessors/facilitators and program leads including:
Corporate programmes such as the Customer Service L2 programme and the Business Administrator L3 programme.
Healthcare programmes such as the Healthcare Support Worker L2 programme and the Senior Healthcare L3 programme.
Leadership & Management programmes such as the Team Leader L3 and the Operational Management L5 programme.
Apprenticeships are a great start to someone’s career, we take apprentices at age 16+ so its an excellent opportunity for them to work and learn while earning a wage.
We recruit for our in-house apprenticeships via NHS jobs 2-3 times a year depending on the programme.
We also work closely with Gateshead Council who offer their Functional Skills programme. Upon joining a level 2 apprenticeship, if you haven’t got your Maths and English at grade C or above we will automatically enrol you onto the Functional Skills programme which means you will not only gain your apprenticeship qualification, but you will gain your maths/English qualification too.

The Military Preparation College (MPC) is a unique training college that helps 16-19 year olds develop their fitness, vocational qualifications, and employability skills to help prepare for employment, including rewarding careers in the British Armed Forces. You will join the 16-19 Study Programme. You will be in-centre learning for 4 days per week, with blended learning planned for each Friday. During this programme, you will work towards Functional Skills in English and Mathematics, and a ETCAL Level 2 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Preparations for Military Service. Local Centres: Newcastle (Gateshead International Stadium), Sunderland (Beacon of Light) Excellent facilities at both locations and all instructors are ex-military.
Tyne North Training is a specialist apprenticeship training provider. Thousands of North East employees have taken the first steps in their successful careers with a Tyne North Training apprenticeship. We provide apprenticeships in the Engineering and Business Administration sectors and currently manage around 450 apprentices, working in approximately 150 different employers based in the north east of England, including Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Our Employment Training and Skills (ETS) courses provide young people with skills and qualifications they can build on and develop throughout their working life.
