Pharmacy Apprentice – Moorfields City Road, London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice in the main Pharmacy dispensary located at Moorfields Eye Hospital City Road site.

We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our busy and friendly department as part of our Pharmacy team. The post holder will also rotate in the Pharmacy stores and distribution section. After suitable training you will be involved in various activities required to support the Pharmacy technicians and Pharmacists in the dispensary, including taking in and dispensing prescriptions and supporting patients with medication advice and help.

You will also undertake ward stock/clinic stock top ups and inpatient dispensing under the supervision of the Pharmacist.

Other activities included within the job role are to assist in the maintenance of the Pharmacy stock from ordering and receiving stock to storing it appropriately.
